Guard Card Required for Placement

All EOP security officers must have a valid Hawaiʻi Guard Card before being assigned to a security post.

Don’t have your Guard Card yet?

EOP may offer Guard Card classes to qualified individuals who meet our hiring standards. Candidates must successfully obtain their Guard Card before beginning work.

State application fees, class fees, fingerprinting fees, and other licensing-related costs are not included and are the responsibility of the applicant.
