š£ Easter Safety Tips for Families ā From Executive One Protection
At Executive One Protection, we believe in protecting what matters most ā and that includes our keiki (children) and families. As Easter approaches, many of us gather to celebrate with egg hunts, outdoor activities, and delicious food. It's a time of joy, but also a time to stay mindful of safety ā especially when little ones are involved.
Here are a few important safety tipsĀ to help keep your Easter holiday safe, fun, and memorable:
šø 1. Egg Hunt Safety
Inspect eggs before hiding.Ā Make sure plastic eggs don't have sharp edges or broken parts.
Choose safe hiding spots.Ā Avoid areas near streets, pools, or steep hills.
Supervise children.Ā Always have an adult watching the kids, even during small backyard hunts.
š 2. Food and Allergy Awareness
Check treats.Ā If your kids receive Easter baskets or candy from others, inspect for allergens or choking hazards.
Homemade vs. store-bought.Ā Be cautious with homemade goods from unfamiliar sources.
Hydration is key.Ā If you're out in the sun, pack water to keep everyone hydrated.
šø 3. Traffic and Outdoor Caution
Watch for cars.Ā If your Easter activities are in a park or community space, remind kids to stay away from roads.
Mark your event.Ā Use signs or cones to alert drivers to slow down near your gathering.
Sun protection.Ā Apply sunscreen and bring hats for long outdoor events.
š 4. Home & Community Safety
Lock up before leaving.Ā If you're heading to an event, double-check that your home is secure.
Report suspicious activity.Ā If something feels off, call your local security or police.
Have an emergency plan.Ā Make sure kids know what to do if they get separated.
